The Indian Army
The Indian Army, land based branch, is the largest section of the Indian Armed Forces. Bharatiya Sena recruits citizens of India to fulfill the mission of national security and unity. This land based branch recruits people under Permanent Commission and Short Service Commission. The Indian Army offers lucrative opportunities to government job aspirants.
The permanent commission officers are fighters and have to work till they retire. For permanent commission one has to join IMA Dehradun or NDA Khadakwasla. These officers work in different locations & departments. On the other side, the short service officers can work for a period of 10 years, which can be further extended to 14 years after government approval. The Indian Navy
Founded in the year 1947, Indian Navy is the naval division of the armed forces of India. Its prime objective is to secure national maritime borders and enhance international relations, by operating on, above and under the surface of the oceans. There are approximately sixty seven thousand personnel working in the Indian Navy.
